We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments within our facility. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all laundry processes are completed efficiently and effectively. Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
Duties
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean linens and garments.
Sort, wash, dry, and fold items according to established procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents used in the laundry process.
Assist in inventory management by tracking linen usage and reporting shortages.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests for specific laundry needs.
Requirements
Previous experience in laundry operations or cleaning is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
