Local delivery driver needed (company owned trucks)
Deliveries to local customers
Pick-up of materials and supplies from local vendors
Shuffling of parts and materials between facilities.
Forklift experience and strapping/securing load experience is required.
Company trucks are both flatbeds - one with a 20' bed one with 14' bed
Must have some experience driving larger flatbeds and must be proficient in manual and automatic transmissions.
Because the driver represents our company driver needs to have a clean and presentable appearance and should maintain company vehicles. Communication with customers and vendors must always be respectful and professional.
In addition, the driver is responsible for vehicle maintenance including:
Weekly – Check Oil levels, diesel DEF levels, and tire pressures
Every other week – Exterior washing, window cleaning, wipe down interior panels and dash and interior vacuuming the seats and floors
Keep up with and notify management of vehicle service needs. (oil changes, tire replacements, other)
Do not apply if you do not have forklift operating experience and prior training. Current certification preferred.
Do not apply if your driving record is not spotless.
