MACHINE OPERATOR $16 HR., is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position
Operates machine that mixes material according to pre-determined formula to make brick/block
Gathers material as specified by work order; weighs materials, records information on batch cards
Transfer specified materials into machine for processing
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and handling equipment in performing duties
Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory
Follow all required work safe practices including lock-out tag-out requirements and wearing of all required PPE in designated areas
Skills and Experience Required for Success
Previous experience in a production environment
Knowledge of power/hand tools
Good communication skills - both verbal and written
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb, reach, grasp, bend at the waist, twist at the waist frequently
Ability to frequently work in cramped, confined spaces
Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) – required and provided

UTILITY WORKER $16.50 - UNLOADS MATERIALS, PARTS OR PROUCTS AROUND THE PLAT OR YAR. ENSURES THAT MACHINES ARE FREE OF WASTE PRODUCTS. OPERATE A FORKLIFT. ABLE TO WORK IN CONFINED SPACES. CLEAN UP AROUND THE PLANT SWEEPING BROKEN BRICK PIECES AROUND FURNACES.
KILN CAR REPAIR WELDER - MIG/STICK WELDER, READ BLUEPRINTS, knowledge of power tools, pass hazmat exam. $18 -$20 hr.
QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST (BRICK QUALITY)$17 + DOE Perform analytical test on samples, using instrumentation and equipment as well as performing calculations to measure such factors as purity, size and hardness, applying arithmetic. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches being flexible to handle anything tbat might come their way, he a strong and reliable support for company operations. determine consistency of measurements and color of product through mathematical formulas processes and procedures, weight and measurements as instructed. BRICK PACKAGERS BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH $16.50 hr. will grip brick and stack into machine that will band brick to be loaded on trucks. lift 16 to 35 pds constantly, repetitive motion, standing 10 hours a day., bending, packaging brick.
