IT Manager
GDH Consulting has partnered with a Tulsa based organization that is looking for an onsite leader in the IT space to help them make strategic decisions in the use of 3rd party technology and partners. As an IT Manager you will be a key decision maker in identifying a 3rd party partner that will provide IT infrastructure, application, networking, training and help desk/deskside support.
PURPOSE
Serve as the primary liaison with third-party technology Partner(s), which provides IT infrastructure, application, networking, training and help desk/deskside support. This role also serves as business analyst to aid in determining technology needs and identification of potential technology solutions.
DUTIES
Serves as the primary interface and manages the relationship with the firm's third-party technology partner(s), ensuring technology services are meeting and aligning IT with business needs
Serves as the primary interface with attorneys and staff and is responsible for ensuring execution of Technology Committee approved strategy
Proactively works with internal users to drive productivity, efficiency, and process improvements
Maintains IT and Information Security policies and procedures
Leads response to security questionnaires and audits
Assists the Practice Development Department to address IT-related information needed in response to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a management role with increasing
Responsibilities
Experience with operations and/or process/workflow improvement
Experience with Office 365, Cloud-based solutions and storage
Strong customer focus
Strong vendor management skills; Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Analyze IT infrastructure, systems, and website performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics in order to recommend needed infrastructure improvements to meet current and future organizational needs, maintaining knowledge of new technology, trends, and best practices, and how they might assist third party vendor in carrying out its mission.
Develop, implement and oversee risk mitigation strategies, security of systems, networks, and enterprise information while ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements including conducting periodic audits and due diligence checks of security protocols and systems evaluations for vulnerabilities.
Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular tests; maintain back-ups, updates, and firewalls; identify and respond to all website issues, including website security breaches, and work with contracted vendors when necessary.
