Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate must also have a keen knowledge of the refrigeration cycle as well as electricity and controls and should enjoy servicing a variety of equipment across multiple facilities including
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on refrigeration systems, including industrial ammonia systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions.
- Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, condensers, and valves.
- Install new refrigeration systems and ensure they are properly functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficient in welding and plumbing techniques related to refrigeration systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. History of DUI need not apply.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Must be willing to travel to service in neighboring states in company vehicle.
