Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed Fertilization/Weed Control Technician to join our team. This role involves applying fertilizers and chemicals to residential and commercial properties, ensuring lawns remain lush, healthy, and weed-free. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and passionate about lawn care.
Responsibilities:
Safely mix and apply chemicals, herbicides, and fertilizers according to label instructions
Operate and maintain equipment such as spray tanks, spreaders, and truck
Perform treatments on residential and commercial properties, including weed control and fertilization
Drive company vehicles to job sites, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
Monitor and diagnose lawn issues, including pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
Follow all safety procedures and comply with state regulations for chemical handling and application
Maintain accurate service records and logs for each application
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining treatment plans
Requirements:
Valid Service Technician License for pesticide and chemical application
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in fertilization, weed control, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of chemical application processes and safety protocols
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to operate and maintain equipment properly and safely
