R&D Medical Transportation LLC is hiring full-time drivers to join our NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) company. No previous experience required.
Job Description:
Drivers will transport patients, primarily seniors and individuals with disabilities, from their homes to hospitals or medical facilities and back. Drivers must assist patients when necessary and provide excellent customer service. Routes and schedules will be assigned through a mobile application.
There are two types of services:
Ambulatory
Wheelchair
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure patient safety, including proper wheelchair securing techniques.
Requirements:
Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
Clean driving record, no speeding tickets or driving violations
7-year national background check
Availability Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Full-time availability
Training and Certifications:
Drivers must complete 4 courses to be certified:
1. Defensive Driving (online) – covered by the company
2. Online Training Course – covered by the company
3. CPR Online Training – covered by the company
4. Wheelchair Securing Training (in-person) – paid by the driver ($100)
Compensation and Benefits:
Company-provided vehicle
Gas card and Pikepass included
Weekly pay: $650 ($130/day)
