We are looking for three Lead Buyers to drive APLA NDDC assortments that create profitable, consumer-right buys planned to capacity. You will be focused on executing strategies for the NDDC business. The candidate should possess proven retail competence and analytical abilities, strong digital acumen, and bring a consumerist perspective to the team. This position will require flexibility, curiosity, and comfort in ambiguity as you work with multiple Territories across the globe from Korea, Japan, Pacific, SEA&I, & LATAM.The roles we're hiring for are:

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHNike Direct; in particular Digital and Stores Buying, Consumer Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Site Merchandising and Brand Marketing. We also work with finance, operations and the insights/analytics teams; relying on business reporting which includes quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory and consumer behaviors.You will report to the Men’s / Women’s NDDC Merchandising Sr. Manager of your team.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for consumerists with an affinity for product that enjoy the energy of moving at the pace of retail and the consumer. A successful Lead Buyer will thrive and contribute to a positive and progressive team dynamic, as well as lead in a way that elevates the total team.This role is responsible for adapting & curating consumer right assortments with end in mind for the Nike Direct Digital business by using historical data, analytics and real-time market feedback to advise the future (coming seasons) while winning today (in-season read & react/selling & serving)!The candidate should possess proven retail competence and analytical abilities, understand retail environments, and bring a consumerist perspective to the team and business. They are comfortable mentoring the daily work of individual contributors within a structured coaching framework.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

5+ years experience in footwear or apparel buying and/or merchandising, product creation and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment

Strong affinity for current market trends and how Nike can continue to be a style leader in the marketplace

Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience

Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT and others

Ability to contribute to and drive strategy into action

Ability to travel up to 20%

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONYou will own bringing the seasonal assortment to life on Nike Digital platforms. You will understand related aspects of the business and marketplace in making your plans; including coordinating between genders, brands (Nike & Jordan) and how individual products or collections impact each other. You will collaborate cross functionally to ensure assortment plans meet consumer demand and brand strategies.You will hone consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons with an understanding of Nike Direct’s position in the market & competitive landscape to blend fact-based and intuitive inputs.
