We are hiring a Senior Accountant who enjoys a fun, fast paced environment in a rapidly growing food manufacturing environment. If cost and revenue accounting in a manufacturing environment is your jam we want to speak to you!
What Youll Be Doing:
In this role, youll be one of our all around accounting ninja's. Slayer of all things numbers related for Humm. Including performing the daily, weekly and monthly general accounting responsibilities in areas such as company fixed assets and depreciation, cost accounting, financial statement preparation, credit cards, bank reconciliations and tap room sales. You'll ensure general ledger transactions comply with GAAP and company policies. You'll collaborate with internal departments and outside parties to ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and other monthly, quarterly and annual close duties for your areas of responsibility You get to do this while working with a fun and knowledgeable team of accounting ninja.
Whats Required for Consideration:
Our perfect accounting ninja and excel wizard will have the following experience and educational background:
6 to 8 years experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Cost accounting experience for 3 to 4 years of your accounting career.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area or significant equivalent experience. CPA or CMA a plus
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems preferred. SAP Business 1/Orchestrated Beer a plus.
Expert level with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly motivated, self-starting team player with the ability to adapt to changes in work load and responsibilities
