Key Responsibilities
Enter, process, and pay vendor bills through AppFolio.
Deposit and post rent payments and security deposits.
Create and distribute accurate monthly owner statements and financial reports.
Answer tenant questions related to rent payments, ledgers, and charges.
Prepare utility bill-backs and tenant chargebacks in a timely and accurate manner.
Reconcile all bank accounts and trust accounts monthly.
Process final accounting security deposits
Process annual 1099s for vendors and owners.
Collaborate closely with property managers, maintenance coordinators, and the owner of the company to ensure smooth communication between all departments.
Maintain compliance with Oregon property management and accounting laws.
Willingness to help answer telephones and do other property management duties like show rental homes on occasion.

Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy — especially with numbers and data entry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience in property management accounting.
Familiarity with AppFolio, QuickBooks, or similar accounting platforms.
Understanding of trust accounting, vendor payments, and reconciliation processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and willingness to be part of a collaborative team.
