Commercial / Residential Construction Project Manager
Kellcon is looking to add a talented Construction Project Manager to our team. Our ideal candidate would meet the following qualifications:
5-10+ years project management experience in commercial and residential construction $1M-$5M+
BS in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or similar.
Proficient computer and office skills.
Proficient industry standard software (MS Project, Procore, etc.).
Demonstrated understanding of project management responsibilities from preconstruction through warranty.
Familiarity with self-performed scopes of work (concrete, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to read and understand construction plans and documents.
Safety conscientious. Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
Represents position and company professionally with clients, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, employees, etc. Builds and maintains positive working relationships.
Key leadership characteristics would include accountability, follow-through, mentorship style
management, excellent organization and time management skills, efficiency, dependability, open communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Contract review and scope management.
Subcontractor and Supplier procurement and administration.
Project forecasting, budget/cost control, monthly reporting.
Correspondence and document management – Liaise with Owners, Architects, Municipalities. Attending various project team meetings. Work with project Superintendent to meet schedules and budgets. Process and/or review subcontracts, change orders, RFI’s, submittals, daily reports, timesheets, safety reports, as-builts, shop drawings, punch-list, other various project startup through closeout docs, etc.
