General Description (major areas of responsibility of this position):
This role focuses on retail and warehouse responsibilities with occasional driving requirements. The individual in this position is accountable for supporting customer purchases and fostering relationships by performing deliveries, managing consignments, recovering used batteries, conducting customer installations, and engaging in various warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, labeling, loading, inventory control, reconditioning used batteries, and battery maintenance. Additionally, the role involves assisting in training others and documenting effective processes. Proficiency in safe driving practices, material handling equipment, and processes is crucial.
Furthermore, this position is responsible for selling goods and ensuring a positive customer experience on the selling floor, over the phone, or via email. Essential skills include safe forklift driving practices, familiarity with material handling equipment and processes, and exceptional face-to-face customer service. The role emphasizes consistent demonstration of excellence and active contribution to process improvements in both retail and warehouse operations.
