Are you an experienced educator with strong project management skills and a passion for bringing people together to learn and grow? School of Ranch, a nonprofit organization in Central Oregon, is looking for a dynamic Facilitation Manager to lead and support our interactive, community-driven workshops.
What You’ll Do
As our Facilitation Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the workshop experience, focusing on:
Workshop Development: Collaborate to design engaging, hands-on workshops aligned with School of Ranch’s mission.
Guest Star Recruitment: Identify and onboard content experts (Guest Stars) to share their skills.
Instructional Design: Develop workshop plans that are accessible, interactive, and goal-oriented.
Project Management: Oversee timelines, resources, and coordination to ensure workshop success.
Logistics: Manage the details, from materials to schedules.
Facilitation: Lead the instructional side of workshops, working side-by-side with the Guest Star to create an unforgettable learning experience.
Compensation
$100 per workshop plus 20% of workshop revenue.
Workshop revenue averages $800, so typical compensation per workshop is $260.
We host five to ten workshops per month, giving you the opportunity to earn $1,300 to $2,600 per month.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as an educator, trainer, or facilitator.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
A creative approach to learning and problem-solving.
Passion for fostering collaboration and community-building.
Comfort using a variety of software tools, including task management tools and the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
