Oregon State University (OSU) and the Family Resource Center invite applications for Substitute Teachers for the Little Beavs Early Care and Education Center. These are on-call positions to fill in during staff absences and vacations.
The Substitute Associate Teacher (Substitute) supports the lead teachers at the Little Beavs Early Learning Center, a unit within the Family Resource Center on the Oregon State University Bend campus. The Substitute will be an on-call position to fill in during staff absences and vacations. Campus ECE centers are committed to continually discovering, creating, and sustaining a teaching and learning environment that supports inquiry, diversity, and equity. Substitute teachers support the lead teacher(s), the Center Director, help with other Center-wide duties, and work with parents, as assigned. This position requires knowledge of child development, excellent communication skills and tremendous patience to provide a safe, emotionally secure, and nurturing environment for the healthy development of young children. Guidelines used for operation will follow Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) child care center regulations, state health regulations, and program rules and philosophy. The primary duties will be to assist with day-to-day classroom operations.
