Stemach Design & Architecture is seeking an architectural design professional to fill an open position in our firm. This position is ideal for candidates with 0-6 years of experience. The work experience will provide professional experience in all phases of design and construction of a variety of commercial projects both large and small.
Stemach Design & Architecture is a design focused architecture firm with a strong emphasis in sustainability and community engagement. We have a diverse portfolio of projects large and small, as well as an interesting mix of upcoming projects. Our current work includes restaurants, office and industrial buildings and tenant improvements, medical, multi-family residential, vertical mixed use and urban design. Our project scopes range from multiple building developments to fine interior and exterior custom detailing such as stairways, furniture and lighting.
Our office is located in Northwest Crossing at Embark, a blended multi-tenant co-working space shared with Ruffwear’s headquarters, and features secure, covered bike storage, adjustable standing desks in a collaborative work environment. Our compensation package includes standard holiday pay, personal time off, paid sick leave, medical insurance, retirement savings plans and other annual perks.
The ideal candidate shows attention to detail, initiative to learn new things, demonstrates strong design skills, and possesses proficient Revit/ArchiCAD experience. Candidate must have a degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Experience with Adobe software (such as Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign) and general proficiency with computers in a networked environment is a benefit. While we are currently seeking candidates with less experience, this position has the opportunity for long term career growth and increased responsibility, including supporting a candidate’s pursuit of licensure.
