About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner to support our Production and Operations workforce and leadership team, driving operational success through effective workforce planning, employee development, and leadership partnership.This position will focus on key aspects of Direct Labor support, including workforce planning, supervisor coaching, training and skill development, and labor compliance. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders to optimize workforce performance and engagement.This is not a traditional plant-floor HR role — you will also work behind the scenes with leadership to develop and implement programs that enable our manufacturing teams to thrive.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the Head of Manufacturing on workforce planning, shift sizing, and staffing modelsSupport supervisors and frontline leaders with performance management, employee relations guidance, and leadership developmentLead efforts to implement training programs and skills matrices to enhance team capability and cross-trainingSupport the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of both permanent and temporary direct labor employeesMonitor and analyze labor cost drivers such as overtime, absenteeism, and turnover, and recommend actions to optimize costsEnsure compliance with applicable wage & hour laws, labor policies, and safety standards in partnership with leadershipServe as a trusted HR advisor to manufacturing leadership, collaborating with the Head of HR to ensure consistent HR practices across the organization
