What You'll Learn and Do
As an Apprentice Roofer, you'll be paired with experienced crew members to learn the ins and outs of the trade, including:
Loading, unloading, and staging ladders & tools at the job site.
Properly using hand tools and power equipment used in roofing.
Preparing the roof deck, including tear-off and debris removal.
Installing various roofing materials (shingles, membranes, etc.) according to best practices.
Following all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
What We're Looking For
The most important traits we look for are reliability, a great attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Must be physically fit: Able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand, climb, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
Comfortable working at heights: This is non-negotiable for roofing work.
Reliable Transportation: Must be able to get to our shop or designated job sites on time every day.
Team Player: Willing to take direction, learn from others, and work cohesively with the crew.
