The Gallery Restaurant & Bar in beautiful Sisters Oregon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our day shift team M-F.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities
-Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
-Take accurate food and drink orders using Micros POS system.
-Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
-Provide attentive service by checking on guests regularly and addressing any needs or concerns.
-Assist with food preparation and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
-Buss tables efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy periods.
-Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
-Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, particularly in restaurant environments.
-Reliable, dependable and consistent work ethic.
-Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
-Experience with cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
