The Hook & Plow is seeking full-time line cooks for our expanding service hours, and are currently holding interviews daily.
We are The Hook & Plow, a seasonally focused scratch kitchen on the west side with roots in SoCal beach culture. We specialize in new American cuisine with international influences, heavily seafood oriented and strive to source as locally and organically as possible.
We have been open since August of ‘23 and have created a great core group of employees that we hope to expand upon as we begin to offer lunch and brunch service in the coming months.
We are looking for positive and like minded individuals to join our team, that posses the following talents:
- previous line experience in a full service restaurant
- basic knife skills
- strong communication skills
- willingness to train and learn in a fast paced environment
- have a strong passion for food and food service
- ability to work as a part of team
Compensation starts at $18.00 an hour + tips, averages $20-22/hr with tips included.
Perks include free shift meals/drinks (beer/wine/cocktails for 21+), Flexible schedule, and a great team environment (No FOH vs BOH mentality!). Potential for increased pay rates for the right candidates with commensurate experience.
