At M’s Bakery, we strive to connect with others in all we do; our food is a way to do that. The primary responsibility of the line cook position is handcrafting our breakfast and lunch menu. Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare and plate hot/cold breakfast and lunch items in an efficient, safe, and timely manner
Follow M’s recipes with care and attention to detail
Manage stress situations with mutual respect for all team members
Maintain clean and organized work areas, making sure to clean throughout the shift
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly side tasks assigned by the leadership team
Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and notifying appropriate team members when stock is getting low
Adept at working independently during shifts with self-directed initiative and minimal supervision
Mindfully follow M’s policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency at all times
Perform additional duties as assigned by the leadership team
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a line cook is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective and constructive team interactions
ServSafe Food Handlers card or ability to obtain one within 7 days of hire
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
Occasional need to lift upwards of 40 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Self-motivated and self-starter

M’s Bakery, Old Mill location, operates seven days a week except for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Production may still be in operation with limited hours.
Team members enjoy a free shift meal during each shift
Shift: 8 hour shift
Bakery is open from 7am-3pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18-20 /hour DOE + great tips!
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
