Job Description:
As a Line Cook at Mountain Burger, you will play an integral role in preparing and cooking food to meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, efficient service, and a consistently great experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe standards and customer preferences
- Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented attractively
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following health and safety guidelines
- Stock and rotate ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment (line cook, prep cook, or similar role)
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
