We are the largest restaurant in Bend and we are on a mission to become one of the best steakhouses in Central Oregon:

Blacksteer Steakhouse is looking to build out a new rockstar kitchen team!

My name is Brandon Duncan and I recently joined the Blacksteer team as the new GM. I have over 20 years of experience creating, opening and successfully managing unique restaurant concepts throughout the US. I joined the Blacksteer team to help rebuild this amazing restaurant into something truly special. While the restaurant originally opened several years ago, we are currently going through a exciting journey of growth and positive change, and we are looking for the best chefs and line cooks in Central Oregon.

I just hired a new head chef that has extensive experience, especially with French & Mediterranean cuisine. My goal is to find 2-3 line cooks & sous chefs to round out our team.

Traits & qualities I'm looking for:

Experience in a high volume kitchen a huge plus

Experience on the grill ( can train the right person )

Knowledge of basic cooking & knife principles

Positive attitude and strong desire to learn, grow and improve your craft

Open-minded, team and oriented, and someone that can stay calm under pressure

We are re-designing our entire menu, making A LOT of creative and exciting changes to the restaurant, and we are super excited for what's ahead. There will be growth opportunities both within the restaurant and future opportunities to help open new concepts as we grow. We pay a very competitive wage + tips and weekly / monthly bonuses. There are hourly and salary opportunities available.
