We are seeking a skilled and dedicated maintenance technician to join our team. The candidate must possess strong maintenance, facility maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role includes, but not limited to guest room maintenance, HVAC and plumbing knowledge, pool/spa proficiency, and landscaping capabilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently while also managing 1-4 employees.
Duties:
-Perform routine inspections and general maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment.
-Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
-Drive company shuttle to and from the airport.
-Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
-Monitor and maintain building systems (lighting, heating, cooling).
-Ensure all tools and equipment are used and maintained properly.
-Assist with snow removal, landscaping and seasonal tasks as needed.
-Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
-Previous maintenance or handyman experience necessary (hotel experience preferred).
-Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
-Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs.
-Must have valid Oregon driver license and pass MVR.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
