Freeland Spirits is excited to open their new tasting room in Bend, OR! We are seeking to fill multiple full time positions for our tasting room opening in early November.

We're thrilled to open a new tasting room in Bend, OR, and are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Tasting Room Associates to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Tasting Room Associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience in our Bend tasting room. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for craft spirits, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Tasting Room Associates will represent the Freeland Spirits brand, educating customers on our products, fulfilling orders, and assisting in the production of our Freeland Fresh cocktail mixers. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Guest Engagement:
Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors.
Lead tastings and share product knowledge with enthusiasm and accuracy.
Answer customer inquiries and offer product recommendations.
Order Fulfillment & Sales:
Process orders and payments using the POS system, including online order fulfillment.
Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain a well-organized retail space.
Stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and notify management of low stock items.
Cocktail Production:
Assist in the preparation of Freeland Fresh cocktail mixers according to recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Events & Offsite Tastings:
Represent Freeland Spirits at offsite events, including farmers' markets and liquor store tastings.
Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed.
Operations & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized tasting room, including restroom and common areas.
Follow opening and closing procedures responsibly.
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitization protocols.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Willing to obtain an OLCC service permit before starting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation for occasional offsite events.
Commitment to inclusivity, equity, and anti-racism.
Preferred Experience:
At least two years of experience in hospitality, events, retail, or the beverage industry.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
Ability to multitask, maintain a high level of detail, and work independently.
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
