Currently, Evoke is seeking 5-10 individuals to join our team in the unique position of part time Operations Support Staff. This position focuses on transporting our students, clients, and visitors to and from our field areas, as well as some basic gear and vehicle management when needed. Evoke operates 24/7 all year round, which means assignments for part time Operations Support Staff can be very flexible to work around your schedule! Evoke will provide all necessary training for
Operations Support Staff. Upon hire, candidates will be contacted as needed to fill assignment slots for Evoke's operational needs. Assignments range from 4 to 10+ hours long, and weekly hours can vary from 10 to 30+ hours depending on your availability and seasonal company needs. Support Staff are required to accept a minimum of 7 assignments per month when they are offered.
This position offered excellent flexibility to create your own schedule and enjoy the part-time Bend lifestyle, or can be scheduled around other jobs, college classes, etc.

Evoke Cascades Position Opening in Bend, Oregon: Part-Time Operations Support Staff
Description of Job & Duties
⢠Facilitate intake of participants into the program, including transportation, supervision, outfitting, & general assessment of mental status
⢠Facilitate exit process of participants at the end of the program, including transportation, supervision, & reissuing of personal gear
⢠Facilitate family visits for participants in the program, including transportation & outfitting
⢠Perform various other transportation assignments as needed (ie. medical appointments)
⢠Perform basic vehicle maintenance (ie. refueling, cleaning, minor maintenance) and transport
fleet vehicles for regular maintenance & repairs
⢠Drive safely and efficiently on- & off-road, using company vehicles. This may include operating a
UTV and pulling trailers - appropriate training will be provided
⢠Responsible for safe operation of vehicles, trailers, UTVs, and other company equipment
⢠Contribute to emergency response when necessary
⢠Contribute to a collaborative, productive, positive, and professional company culture
⢠Additional logistical support and duties assigned by supervisor
This is an on-call position â assignments can be scheduled up to 3-5 days ahead of time as demand allows. Operations support staff are required to accept a minimum of 7 assignments per month when they are offered.
Qualifications
⢠Outstanding reliability & dependability, and the ability to work long hours autonomously
⢠Strong, prideful work ethic with an emphasis on safety & teamwork
⢠Professional and courteous customer service with clients, families, & visitors
⢠Minimum 21 years of age at time of hire
⢠Comfortable navigating rural highways and backcountry BLM/USFS land
⢠First aid & CPR certified
⢠Maintain current certification in Aegis crisis intervention & de-escalation (training provided)
⢠Experience with mental healthcare, outdoor outfitters (ie. NOLS, Outward Bound), or wilderness
therapy companies preferred
Benefits:
⢠$12-$15/hour, depending upon experience
⢠Weekly hours ranging from 10-40 depending on your availability and seasonal company needs
