Fenix Forestry is looking to add firefighters to our engine crews for the upcoming season. As a local company with 35yrs in the business, we value honest and hardworking people who aren't afraid of sweat and dirt. Women encouraged to apply.
Job Requirements:
Physically capable of completing a pack test ( 3 miles with a 45lb pack in less than 45min)
18 years or older
On call assignments, must be able to respond to dispatches within 2 hrs of our La Pine base.
Training Requirements:
All training is paid for! Rookies will need a 4 day class, experienced firefighters just need their annual 1 day training.
CLASSES start in May.
Our engine crews have averaged over 70 days a season in the past 4 years. You will travel from our La Pine base to incidents through the West and Northern Rockies. Assignments can last up to 14 days with all meals and accomodations included.
