PART TIME JANITOR NEEDED
Madras Secure Shelter Services is operated by the Jefferson County Faith Based Network. We are searching for a part-time (15-20 hours per week) janitor to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:
General cleaning of the building
Clean and stock restrooms
Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
Clean windows and walls as needed
Collect and dispose trash
Disinfect commonly used items like tables, chairs, desks, door handles, etc
Maintain cleaning products inventory and notify manager when products are needed
Notify manager of needed repairs or unsafe conditions
Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
Requirements:
Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
Able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Able to lift at least 25 pounds
Able to use basic cleaning equipment
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
Excellent, efficient time-management skills
Knowledge of various cleaning products, when to use them, and the appropriate safety guidelines
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Reliable and organized
