Job Summary Aerotek is seeking a General Production Worker for a rapidly growing company in Bend, OR. This is a contract to hire position paying $15.10/hour working 3x12 graveyard shfits with full benefits available and a $2.45/hour pay raise after 90 days! Benefits Highlights Include:Full medical, dental Responsibilities Include: LINE TAILOFFInspect product for flaws and defects, alert operators of any problems or defects immediately and package each product correctlyKeep lines and production floor clean and free of debris and stocked for incoming shiftComplete all necessary paperwork (i.e. work orders), read and understand specifications for all productsKeep supervision, operators, and other teammates informed of all problems or relative production concernBuild boxes, clean and maintain printers, keep track of tools and equipment and ensure all needed supplies are availableWork closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions, ask for help when neededParticipate in and promote continuous improvement events and ideas LINE OPERATORRun efficient production lines, problem solving to ensure products meet quality specifications, including checking product and equipment frequently, making immediate adjustments or changes to lines when neededKeep lines and production floor clean and free of debris and stocked for incoming shiftComplete all necessary paperwork (i.e. work orders), read and understand specifications for all products, grade products, document all changes to the line as they occurConsistently communicate problems or needs with supervision, as well as, with all team membersBuild boxes, clean and maintain printers, keep track of tools and equipment, ensure all needed supplies are availableRun, set-up, and have ability to start an extruderWork closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions, ask for help when neededParticipate in and promote continuous improvement events and ideas Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required1 year of manufacturing related experienceMechanical aptitude & manual dexterity to operate machinery and computersExperience with repetitive tasksExperience with multi-taskingAble to read, write and speak English fluentlyAble to stand for extended periods of timeAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Previous packaging or assembly experience preferredDetail orientedAble to work in a team environment - good verbal communication skillsPrevious experience standing and working 12-hour shifts preferredMust wear steel toed boots Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by e-mailing a resume/submitting an application ASAP!
