Irrigation and Backflow Specialist Overview:
We are seeking a growth-minded problem solver to join our team as an Irrigation and Backflow Specialist. This person will spend their days inspecting, repairing, and installing backflow prevention devices, and performing various irrigation system evaluations, repairs, and installations. In filling this critical position within our company, you should be ready to:
Embody and uphold company values in all situations
Communicate effectively with customers and other crew members in person, over the phone, and via text/email
Delight customers and strive to exceed expectations and improve our reputation in all circumstances
Perform backflow prevention device testing on commercial and residential devices
Perform repairs and replacements for backflow devices as required
Complete detailed test reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
Diagnose and troubleshoot various irrigation systems and devices
Perform irrigation service work, including service checks, start-ups, winterizations, and repairs
Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation practices
Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
What we are looking for:

In addition to these general qualifications, our Irrigation and Backflow Specialist will need:
Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic
A love of problem solving
High attention to detail, with an uncompromising pride in the quality of your work
Excellent time management skills and ability to make decisions about work priorities
A current backflow tester certification
(2) years of experience testing, repairing and installing backflow prevention devices on domestic and irrigation systems
A general knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing
A valid driver’s license and good driving history
Experience working with electronic scheduling tools, like Gmail calendar
Qualifications that will set you apart:
Experience testing, repairing and installing backflow prevention devices on commercial, industrial, and fire
suppression systems
Job type: Full Time
Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shifts Monday – Thursday (Enjoy a 3 day weekend)
8 hour shifts Monday - Friday
Overtime and flexible schedule options available
