POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for warehouse functions including: receive and store inventory shipments; pick/pack/ship outgoing orders to individual customers, dealers, and distributors; maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pick, pack, and ship small parcels (USPS, UPS, and FedEx) to domestic and international customers
Receive, document, and store freight deliveries of new inventory
Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure the products delivered match the packing list
Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and notify supervisor
Assemble distributor orders on pallets for freight transportation
Weigh and measure freight shipments and relay dims to sales staff
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Basic diploma or GED equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in warehouse activities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate warehouse machinery, ideally forklift certified with experience
Detail-oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Standing for long periods, ability to work on feet for 8 hours a day and carry loads up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in hot or cold weather
Ability to work independently and safely
COMPENSATION
Part Time (M-F) with potential for Full Time depending on qualifications/experience
Pay Range $19 - $24/hour
