General Information:
We are looking for a self-motivated and skilled A&P mechanic. As part of the AI Systems team you will perform general maintenance, retro-fit, R&D and composite repair work on high performance aircraft. We work on both experimental and certified aircraft. Daily Duties:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, engine and basic avionics
Read and comprehend aircraft service manuals
Perform composite retrofits and repairs
Organize and help improve shop efficiency
Work with management to ensure jobs are completed on-time
Document and maintain discrepancy logs for individual aircraft
Work week beyond 40hrs will be required at times
Requirements:
High school diploma required
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred
Experience with Pratt and Whitney turbo prop engines preferred
Experience with Continental and Lycoming engine preferred
Experience with composite materials is preferred
Self-motivated
Problem solver
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Physically able work in tight and/or uncomfortable places
