JOB TITLE: Swiss CNC Machinist-Swing Shift Position
JOB DESCRIPTION: Set-up and operate Swiss CNC machines for quick turn prototype and volume production part manufacturing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include but not limited to the following:
- Swiss CNC machine set-up and operation to produce parts with varying complexity and precision (mostly high precision)
- In-Process and first article inspection of parts to prints
- Program edits as needed (at machine and off line)
- Custom or standard fixture development and setup
- Equipment maintenance and work area housekeeping
- Safety focused work ethic
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Must have 3+ years experience in CNC machining. Experience with the set-up and operation of Swiss CNC machines and mill-turn centers preferred.
- Excellent blue print reading skills.
- Familiarity with Solidworks and Delcam Partmaker software preferred.
- Experience with multiple metrology tools for measuring and recording part dimensions
- Experience with machining of metal (stainless steel, bronze, aluminum) and plastics
- Knowledgeable of Citizen lathes preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This position is for 2nd shift, working a 4 x 10 schedule, on Mondays through Thursdays from 14:00-00:30
- Works primarily in a machine shop environment.
- Will on a continuous basis stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
- Must be flexible to perform limited part finishing and/or assembly as needed.
