We are looking to fill a Metal Preparation position within our company here at Radian Weapons. We are a firearms manufacturer and have been experiencing rapid growth lately, which has created a need for additional personnel.
Description
-
Shop Technician responsible for cleaning and sand blasting machined parts. Other responsibilities include inventorying materials in sand blast work space and keeping work area organized and clean. Position will include opportunities to train in other skills and be promoted based on merit and skill.
Duties
-
-Sandblasts small and medium size Aluminum parts using pneumatic sandblasting equipment in preparation for various coating types (Anodizing, Cerakote, Black Nitride, etc.)
-Clean grease, dirt, abrasive media from parts using solvent, water, rags, brushes
-Apply paper and/or plastic to protect unpainted and painted surfaces of material
-Disassembles paint and sandblasting equipment and cleans equipment, using solvent, wire brushes, and dry cloth
-Be familiar with safe operation of sandblast equipment and understanding of applicable OSHA laws and requirements
Requirements
-Must be a U.S. citizen in accordance to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
-Ability to pass background check
-Sandblast experience preferred
-Must be creative thinker and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
-Valid Driver's license with no restrictions or DUI violations within 1 year
-Must have reliable transportation to and from place of employment
-Must be able to list 50 LBS consistently and up to 100 LBS occasionally
-Salary and Benefits
12 to 17 dollars an hour based on experience.
