Description:
We are a small manufacturing facility looking for a full time welder/metal fabricator. Your days will typically include, cutting raw materials with the saw. Operating the hydraulic tubing bender, and welding (MIG) steel frames and components. You may also be utilized to operate CNC machinery and perform other tasks throughout the shop.
Skills Required:
Proficient with a MIG welder.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and use various measurement tools.
Safely operate various hand tools and machine equipment, such a lathes, mills, drill press, horizontal band saw, grinder, sanders, iron worker and tube bender.
General knowledge of metals.
Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time often doing repetitive motions.
Ability to use jigs for welding.
Must work well both independently and as part of a team.
Perform detailed quality checks to ensure that it meets all standard and requirements.
