WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Saving Grace offers a competitive total compensation package! The hourly rate for our Bilingual Shelter Advocate is $21.31/hr (includes a 5% bilingual differential), depending on experience. Saving Grace also offers 3 weeks of PTO at hire for benefitted employees that elevates to over 6 weeks of PTO at your four-year anniversary and 12 paid holidays - all Federal Holidays plus International Women’s Day, Juneteenth, the day after Thanksgiving, and a floating holiday to be used at the employee’s discretion. As part of the complete compensation package, Saving Grace offers benefits which include medical, dental, and life insurance, as well as a 3-5% match of employee contributions to a 403(b) account and a childcare reimbursement stipend. WHAT YOU GET TO DO!

The Bilingual Shelter Advocate will provide direct services to intimate partner and sexual violence survivors, including crisis counseling, safety planning, court advocacy, helpline support, resources and referrals.

Candidates must be fluent with spoken and written Spanish and English. Must be reliable, able to organize program details, and able to work under stress and respond effectively to crisis situations. One to two years working in intimate partner violence, public health or related social services experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and lived experience.

Saving Grace does not have any degree or educational requirements or expectations.
