POSITION PROFILE (Job Summary)

The processor is responsible for providing support to the Recruiting Department by ensuring accuracy and compliance with the company hiring requirements, regulations, procedures and processes that apply to candidate drivers in the hiring process. Additionally, the processor is the primary source for placement of advertisements in various media resources. The below processor responsibilities will be performed for all Central Oregon Truck Company companies.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS

Support of recruitment activities, including but not limited to, collection of data related to candidate verifications of previous work history and background checks

Run various reports through TenStreet specific to recruiting

Using good judgment regarding compliance with company requirements to fill positions, serving as an advocate for candidates within company guidelines

Scheduling travel arrangements for weekly orientation class

Preparing and submitting recruitment advertisements through various social media

Monitor and approve the posts on our driver FaceBook page

Primary for the correspondence on the company public FaceBook page

Assist with general marketing efforts

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

At least 1year of related work experience or 2 years general office experience

High school diploma or GED

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge:

Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word

Computers, data entry, output, etc.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong, concise written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Must be able to work closely with other departments (i.e. Safety, HR, CSRs, Executives) to work as a team within and outside recruiting

Able to type 40 words per minute

Able to behave with a high degree of integrity

Demonstrate a good-natured, cooperative attitude

Able to work independently, as well as part of a team

Able to follow directions with a high level of accuracy

Complete tasks timely

Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language

Must be able to comply with the Company’s time and attendance policy

Other Requirements:

Ability to secure and maintain a driver’s license valid in the state of residence, or an acceptable alternative means of transportation

Will be subject to successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check

WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee, with or without accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open file cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position does not have supervisory responsibility
