Position Summary
With support from the Floral Category Manager and Store Manager, the Floral Lead assists in leading the daily operations of the floral department and ensures that it runs efficiently, creatively, and profitably. This includes merchandising, product care, inventory, vendor relations, team leadership, and most importantly, customer service. This position is also responsible for maintaining an inviting and inspirational floral experience.
Weekend availability is required.
This is a Full-time position that includes some supervisory responsibilities, supported by both the Floral Category Manager and Store Manager.
Pay Scale
We believe in paying employees fairly for doing work of comparable character in line with the Oregon Equal Pay Act, and we’ve implemented an internal pay-scale system based on hours worked.
What We’re Looking For:
A current Food Handler’s Permit
Three years of floral experience
One year of experience helping lead a team
Strong attention to detail and creative merchandising skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
A team-focused attitude with a passion for serving others
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to confidentiality
Comfortable navigating computer systems and floral ordering platforms

Work Environment
This position operates in a dynamic retail grocery environment and may involve standing for extended periods, working in refrigerated coolers, interacting with a wide range of customers, and occasionally working near store entrances in varying weather conditions.
