Are you a motivated media ad salesperson? We are a new local Print & Digital Magazine looking for an experienced and driven salesperson to sell advertising space in the magazine. We are looking for go-getters to sell general ads in the magazine, as well as listings in the restaurant guide section.
Our magazine provides authentic, relatable locally based stories for Central Oregon. Our magazine is content driven and is distributed to nearly every household in the Bend & Redmond area.
Job Responsibilities:
Prospect new potential advertisers and advertising opportunities.
Connect with new potential advertisers via phone and email, with an in-person follow up.
Sell ads and close deals
Our Ideal Candidate:
Able to start right away!
Is intrigued by the startup environment and being an integral part of its success
Has previous experience in advertising sales
Understands the nature of print advertising and how it differs from web and social media ads
Is excited about connecting with ad buyers (agencies or businesses) to build relationships
Can sell the heck out of media advertising and close ad sales deals
Operates with integrity, always
Is ethical, independent, confident, highly organized, and has excellent command of phone and email communications, including grammar/spelling
Knowledge of the local area is preferred, and ideally, has contacts in the industry
