The Opportunity
Due to personal circumstances, we have several partially completed documentary projects that require a skilled editor to bring to completion. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful content with established direction while adding your creative touch.
What You'll Do
- Complete post-production on 2-3 documentary projects
- Edit raw footage to create compelling narratives
- Add music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
- Color correction and audio enhancement
- Collaborate with the director to ensure the vision is maintained
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
- Experience with documentary or narrative-style editing
- Strong storytelling abilities through visual editing
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ideal Qualifications
- 3+ years professional video editing experience
- Portfolio demonstrating documentary or similar long-form content
- Understanding of pacing and emotional storytelling
- Ability to work independently while following established project guidelines
Compensation
We offer competitive compensation based on your experience and preferences. Options include:
