Auto Damage Appraiser Sr - Bend and Redmond, Oregon

At COUNTRY Financial, our Auto Service Appraiser inspects damaged vehicles and prepares itemized damage appraisals outlining cost of parts, materials, and labor necessary to restore vehicles to their pre-damage condition. Determines if damages are sufficient to declare the vehicle a total loss.

This position allows full-time work within the territory for this position. The territory includes Bend and Redmond, OR and surrounding area.

How does an Auto Service Appraiser make an impact?

Communicates with vehicle owners to promptly schedule physical inspections of damaged vehicle.

Completes physical inspections of damaged property, when necessary, evaluates damages and prepares written estimates in accordance with applicable policy coverage. Audits/reviews body shop and independent appraiser estimates, supplements and subrogation documentation relative to claims guidelines and procedures.

Communicates all information obtained to involved parties, negotiates and settles claims within prescribed authority. Maintains professional working relationships with body shops, vendors and internal customers.

Do you have what we’re looking for?

Experience in writing Auto repair estimates.

Proficient with the use of the CCC estimating platform.

Typing skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

This position is part of a job family. Placement will be determined by skills and qualifications of the candidate.
