Our Central Oregon family-run custom home-building company seeks an experienced Equipment Operator to support a growing range of excavation activities. This position requires a reliable individual capable of completing tasks with minimal oversight while being provided with all necessary resources.
Key Qualifications:
Must be proficient in operating excavators and skid steers; job-specific installation instructions will be provided.
Reliability - consistent attendance, punctuality, and attention to safety.
Ability to work independently, efficiently, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Perform excavation tasks including digging and backfilling.
Assist with utility installations.
Prepare sites for concrete work.
Carry out septic system installations.
Conduct snow removal as needed.
This position offers a variety of excavation work, with occasional requirements to assist in light-duty construction activities. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as there may be times when collective effort on the home-building side is required to meet project deadlines.
Ideal candidates will be competent in the operation of excavators and skid steers and desire to advance their skills in a supportive team environment. Our company provides well-maintained equipment, including machines with enclosed cabs equipped with heating and air conditioning.
Travel throughout Central Oregon is expected. Candidates must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. Immediate work opportunities are available for the right qualified individual.
Salary: Highly competitive with Central Oregon Equipment Operator wages (commensurate with experience).
