Handyman-Part-time for Small Upscale Vacation Rental Mgmt Company (Sunriver)
Looking for motivated individual with handyman experience for part-time handyman position for small boutique vacation rental Management Company in Sunriver. Ideal candidate is hardworking individual with a flexible schedule, solid background in general maintenance and troubleshooting, technology/TV basics/capability, dependable with a positive customer-service attitude. Position handles maintenance issues within the properties and also occasional guest assistance calls.
Looking for a jack-of-all trades person with a mentality to think outside the box and solve problems and keep guests happy.
Position is part time/hourly but can be flexible with most projects. There are set/consistent hours in the summer (mid-June through August) for home departure/arrival walk-throughs and be available for occasional guest service calls. Larger projects (construction) are not required with this position.
Experience/Skills needed:
Ability to do all basic home maintenance
background in and ability to do minor/basic light electrical, carpentry, painting/caulking, appliance troubleshooting
trouble shoot water heaters, fireplaces, motors, heaters, etc.
Ability to assist with TVs, electronics, wifi
Preventative maintenance and projects
General Summary of Duties:
Walk through homes and do small maintenance jobs like changing light bulbs, checking fireplaces, tightening door handles, checking BBQ’s, TV’s, appliances, furniture repair, etc
Respond to guest service calls for things including help with garbage disposals, TV remotes, re-lighting fireplace pilot lights, setting thermostats, etc.
Summer set walk-through schedule + guest assist
Off-season projects vary (painting, caulking, landscaping, gutters, minor repairs, etc)
Requirements:
Cell phone
Receive texts and emails on phone
Have reliable transportation
Live within approx 20 min of Sunriver
Occassional guest assistance calls
Have basic set of general tools
Position is part time/hourly. Larger projects/jobs available during the slower rental season.
Position pairs well with other part-time projects or positions.
Compensation: $36/hr +
Start Date: Immediately
Summer is approx 14-20 hours a week; off-season varies 12-20 hours a week, flexible
