Way To Go Construction is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We handle residential and commercial excavation projects including septic systems, house dig-outs, utility installations, and full site-work packages. Our jobs are throughout Central Oregon
We’re interested in operators at all experience levels—from entry-level with potential to grow, to seasoned operators ready to lead on jobs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operating excavators (10,000–50,000 lbs), track loaders, rollers, and hydraulic hammer attachments
Residential house dig outs, installing septic systems, utility trenching and installation, and commercial site work
Reading plans and understanding grades, stakes, and layout
Communicating with project managers, crew members, inspectors, and clients
Maintaining safe job sites and following proper safety protocols
Hauling equipment between job sites
Completing daily machine inspections and routine maintenance
What We’re Looking For
Ability to read construction plans and follow grade requirements
Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills
Commitment to safety for yourself and the crew
Experience with excavation, trenching, utility installation, or similar work preferred
Valid driver’s license required
CDL is a plus but not required
Pay & Benefits
$30–$45/hr depending on experience
