Journeyman Electrician Wages and Benefits:
Competitive Wages - $44-$55/hr. (DOE)

Journeyman Electrician Minimum Requirements:
Oregon Journeyman License required.
Able to independently layout, oversee, and install a job from start to finish.
Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
Adhere to safe work practices.
Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical
systems and equipment for residential, commercial and industrial work.
Motor controls troubleshooting and wiring a plus but not required.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Possess a valid State of Oregon Driver's License.
Clean DMV record.
Special Qualifications:
Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures associated with electrical work at the
journeyman level & applicable municipal codes.
Skill in the performance of the full range of journeyman-level electrical and associated duties for
residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other drawings; fabricate various circuits as required;
diagnose problems, defects, and hazards in new and existing electrical installations and
equipment.
Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:
Layout, install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems, circuits, and
associated electrical equipment.
Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code.
Inspect and test components of electrical systems.
Maintains purchase records for parts and materials used to complete assigned work and turns
documents into administrative office in a timely fashion.
Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned
projects.
Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools and equipment common to the trade.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provides quality customer service for clients.
Maintain ongoing communication with Supervising Electrician.
Daily input of hours, work descriptions, and materials used into company’s digital system
