Journeyman Structural Welder
Northwest Framing Systems, a locally owned company with over 35 years of excellence in commercial construction, is seeking an experienced Journeyman Welder to join our team. This role focuses on Structural Steel projects across Central Oregon. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the welding trade.

Key Responsibilities
-Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding for structural steel in Commercial Construction
-Perform Structural Welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code
-Set up and operate welding equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
-Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
-Work in various conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces.
-Ability to lift 50+ pounds
-Collaborate with other trades, such as electricians and pipefitters, to meet project goals.
-Adhere to safety standards and use appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
Required Skills & Certifications
-AWS D1.1 FCAW Certification (State of Oregon).
-2+ years of experience in structural welding.
-Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
-Knowledge of building codes and safety protocols.
-Ability to work in diverse environments (outdoor, confined spaces, heights).
Compensation:
-Competitive wage range: $25.00 to $48.00/hour based on experience.
-Prevailing wage opportunities: up to $77.80/hour.
-Weekly paychecks.
