Simpson Construction & Excavation is expanding our presence in Central Oregon, and we’re looking to hire a skilled Lead Carpenter. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and is ready to lead a small crew on residential and light commercial construction projects.
Pay: $33 – $36 per hour
Location: Central Oregon
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and implement plans in the field
- Lead a small crew (1-2 workers) and manage tasks efficiently
- Work across all phases of construction – framing, siding, and interior finish work
- Deliver detail-oriented, high-quality craftsmanship
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on carpentry experience preferred
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Must be dependable, organized, and a great communicator
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
