The Gear Fix is looking for experienced ski technicians to join our Ski Service team.
Primary responsibilities will be mounting and testing bindings. Additional responsibilities will include assisting customers with ski/ snowboard related questions, waxing & edging, and determining appropriate pricing for ski/ snowboard consignment.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Outstanding Customer Service
Strong communication skills
Ability to stay on task while performing multiple duties in a fast paced retail environment
Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for a full shift
Extensive knowledge/ understanding of outdoor gear
Strong problem solving skills
Patience
Continual learning
Experience testing and mounting bindings, as well as other ski work
Although not required, preference given to folks with bike knowledge, sales or tech so PLEASE NOTE
