We are a long established custom home builder serving the Central Oregon area the past 24 years.
We are looking for a skilled WARRANTY TECHNICIAN / CONSTRUCTION DETAIL CARPENTER to be apart of our team.
Essential Duties
Ensure customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot and diagnose warranty repairs.
Effectively communicate with customers, other employees, subs and office staff
Promptly and accurately complete all work orders and obtain customer sign off
Keep Customer Service Manager informed of new warranty developments, changes and/or customer concerns
Identify most common warranty items and share with team
Working knowledge to operate construction tools
Maintain tools and materials in an organized manner
Hanging of mirrors and artwork in completed homes
Millwork repair / installation
Installation / adjustment to cabinets, hardware and appliances
Assist production with pick up framing, siding and other carpentry task
Job Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
Special Skills
Requires proficient experience and confidence with hand and power tools
Knowledge of proper lifting protocol and personal protection equipment including eye
protection, head protection, and proper footwear
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Dependable, trustworthy, clean and professional demeanor a must
Daily communication is required between yourself and project managers and other staff
Good written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Own appropriate minor tools for carpentry work. Saws, screw guns, nail gun and hand tools. Major and specialty tools supplied by company
Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed
Physical Requirements
Able to adapt to all environments, including but not limited to confined spaces i.e. crawl spaces Able to lift 50 pounds lol
We are looking for someone who has a love for the trade, and a passion for being involved in building some of the areas most unique and amazing homes.
Full time year around.
