HIGH DESERT DELIVERY, INC. (independent contractor for FedEx Ground, Inc.) is now hiring Part-time delivery drivers for the Bend/Redmond areas. Drivers will dispatch out of the Bend, Oregon FedEx terminal. Part time shifts available for Saturdays. We are seeking motivated, self-starting professionals, who work well independently in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Currently, we are seeking qualified individuals with professional driving experience.

Compensation
$25.00 / hour starting pay, paid training provided (Negotiable DOE)
$250 bonus if hired from another FedEx location

General duties
Conduct pre/post vehicle inspections daily
Examine and organize daily load prior to departure (vehicles are pre-loaded by Package Handlers)
Pickup and deliver to business and residential customers within the prescribed time windows
Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by High Desert Delivery, and abide by FedEx Ground customer service protocol
Handle and maneuver packages without damage, and without injury to oneself or others
Operate vehicles and equipment safely, securely, and competently
Requirements
At least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license (CDL not required)
One year verifiable professional driving experience within the last three years (or five years experience within the last 10 years)
Clean driving record - no accidents or major violations within the last three years
Ability to pass a DOT physical exam, drug screen (including Marijuana), and criminal background check
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and maneuver oversized packages up to 150 pounds with use of a hand truck
Ability to safely drive and work outside in all weather conditions
Own and operate a smart phone, and be able to learn job-applicable technology and applications
