Looking to hire on call or part-time bus drivers for the Bend Fixed Route and Dial-a-Ride bus service, must apply in in person and be prepared to provide your last 10 years of employment history including any gaps.
This employer performs a pre-employment drug screen, physical functional assessment, as well as DMV and background checks.
Employer Preferences:
Minimum Class B CDL with Air Brakes and Passenger Endorsement, however we will consider training the right person.
Job Requirements:
Must possess excellent people skills
A good driving record with at least 5 years of driving experience.
Hours:
On call hours vary, but generally 15-20 hours a week, part-time 21-25
Full-Time positions are based on seniority and may be available in the future?
Pay:
$15.50 Per hour to start, with paid training
Available bonuses:
For new hires with Class B Commerical Drivers License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements - $700 after training is signed off on by Supervisor and another $700 after 6 months of employment
For new hires without a Class B CDL or passenger endorsement or air brakes endorsement - $450 after completing training signed off on by a Supervisor and another $450 after 6 months of employment
